The old Portuguese Villa is exceptionally well restored and if you love design, history and old features, you are in the right place. The staff is very attentive and wants to help you in every way possible.

The Hotel has no alcohol licence, so don't expect to find it there. Bring your own.

Beautiful villa, staff attentive and super helpful.

They didn’t have a bar or sell alcoholic drinks though on asking they said they could get a delivery if I wanted any alcohol.

I liked the dinner, beautiful place, well maintained & ornate. Very comfortable, and lots of good books. Staff were helpful & interesting.

I came on an unfortunate night-- the manager was sick and the staff when I arrived didn't speak much English! I wasn't sure if I'd arrived at the correct place, but once that was established, it was a lovely place to stay.
