Neemrana Hotels transformed an incomplete 19th-century palace commissioned by Maharaja Balwant Singh into a working heritage hotel.

The restored property incorporates original fort structures including Rani Mahal, Mardana Mahal and Hawa Mahal.

The fort-palace is arranged across rocky hill levels with thick stone walls, historic courtyards, terraces and stepped circulation.

Its architectural language combines Rajput, Afghan and broader Indo-Islamic influences, with occasional colonial traces.

Neemrana’s property page states that the hotel comprises 109 unique accommodations named after Indian painters, designers and aesthetes.

Accommodation is distributed through the historic Rani Mahal and Mardana Mahal, alongside later additions and reconstructed residential blocks.

Dining takes place within the restored fort setting, with views across the surrounding Aravalli hills.

The on-site Neemrana Spa offers body massages, facials, head, back, hand and foot treatments, plus yoga.
