Suite (Heritage) at The Imperial New Delhi

Conceptualized in 1934 and inaugurated in 1936 by Lord Willingdon, the property is widely documented as New Delhi's first luxury hotel.

The architectural language combines Art Deco, Victorian and colonial styles and is associated with F.B. Blomfield, who worked with Edwin Lutyens on New Delhi's plan.

The hotel holds more than 5,000 original artworks from the 17th and 18th centuries across its common areas, floors and accommodations.

The Spice Route is an Asian restaurant with mural art, ancient temple pillars and nine storied sections opening towards a courtyard.

The Imperial Spa, Salon, Health and Racquet Club spans 1,115 square metres, or 12,000 square feet, and features marble, wood and authentic Indian art.

The hotel has 235 accommodations, documented as 192 rooms and 43 suites, offered in nine styles.

The property has nine meeting rooms, including the Royal Ballroom and Imperial Lawns, with total meeting space of 36,776 square feet.

The Royal Ballroom measures 4,386 square feet, has a 20-foot ceiling and accommodates up to 500 guests for banquet, cocktail or theatre events.

Imperial Lawns measures 13,200 square feet and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for cocktails or buffet-style events.
