Alpine form in a pine valley
The resort uses chalet-style architecture to create a mountain-lodge identity on a seven-acre pine-valley site. Designed by architect Anil Sharma, the composition combines timber, stone and framed views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
Srinagar craftsmanship across the interiors
Interior designer Anil Badan localized the contemporary resort through namda felt rugs, silk carpets from local looms, crewel embroidery, carved walnut paneling, papier-mâché details and ornate Khatambandi ceilings.
